Almost Here!

I am so excited Christmas is almost here. I can not wait to celebrate the real reason for Christmas. I just love being with family and friends on this holiday. This is my first year to cook dinner for my family. My brother is coming over and my stepmom and dad will be here today, coming in from AR. I am cooking a ham, deep frying a Turkey and we always love Shrimp no matter what time of year it is.

My Favorite Show

I was just watching HBO and saw a commercial for my favorite show. Big Love. I just love that show. It is returning on January 10th. I can't wait. You know where I will be at 9 p.m.. Glued to the TV..... I am super excited and can't wait.

Anniversary

On December 16th was my 14 year anniversary. We didn't celebrate much. We were invited to my friends Chrissy's childerns program for Mother's Day Out. They sang three songs and it was so cute. Nothing like watching and listening to 3 year olds sing Christmas songs. How adorable are they. The lady in front of us had a 1 year old and she was so adorable. I told my husband I could of kidnapped that baby and she had black hair like my husband they wouldn't know it wasn't our child. She was so stinking cute. Yesterday we went got a new camera. That is our anniversary and Christmas to each other. I can't wait to use it.

Halloween Get together

Halloween night was an awesome night. We had a hay ride for the kids to go trick or treating. They had a ball. It was a little cold but it was an awesome night. I made homemade pizza and cheese dip. Our friend Chrissy bought a cake. It was so cute. Our friend Joe brought some Krispy Cream donuts. They were so good.....We couldn't stay out of the donuts and cake. San Fran Trip

We had an awesome time in San Francisco. The first day we went to Napa Valley and went to a winery. It was so neat to see how they make wine. Here are some pictures of our first day in Napa.

We leave for San Francisco in the morning... I can't wait to leave. I hear it is an awesome place to go and we are very excited about leaving. Very nervous about the plane ride, I don't do well on planes but am praying that God gives me the courage to do well and it is just a mind thing.

What a wonderful Weekend

This weekend is great... but boy is it hot outside. Today we went got hubby's windows tinted on the front. The back ones were already tinted but he wanted the two front ones tinted also. Then we did a little shopping and came home and took a nap. Went to Pizza Hut for dinner and then went grocery shopping at Wal-Mart. Just a relaxing weekend. Tomorrow we are going to wash my car. It is in great need of a wash. We only have 35 more days til we leave for San Fran and I am so excited. I can not wait to get there. Hope we get lots of great pictures. Not such a great Blogger

Okay so I haven't been such a great blogger these days! This past weekend I was a little under the weather. I had a sinus infection and was taking some antibotics and they made me feel funny. This weekend I wanted to do so much but I didn't have the energy to do anything. I hope this weekend is different. Well hope everyone has a great weekend planned.

Baby Birds

We were just sitting in the living room watching a movie and noticed a bird hanging on the screen and then fell to the window sill. I wanted John to put him back in their nest but he said NO they would kill it because he touched it. I felt so sorry for the bird and his momma kept just flying around. They were so cute...

40th Birthday

My brother in law turns 40 on Monday! So we had a party. It turned out great, we had fireworks and great food!

Thursday

Tonight I decided to color my hair and boy what a mistake... It turned out to be brownish RED. Oh well I guess I will have to live with it for a couple of weeks....ha!

We are hoping to have a relaxing weekend. John's brothers birthday party is on July 4th. He is turning 40. I am hoping to get some great pictures. I love taking awesome pictures. I would love to wash my car tomorrow. It really needs to be cleaned inside and out.

Can We Say Busy!

Saturday: We had our three neices and nephews over again this past weekend and we just love them to death. They are to much fun. Luke helped with the flower beds on saturday that my lovely husband got out and fixed up in this hot can we say hot weather. He was miserable. Then we went over to my friend Chrissy's to meet up with a lady that sells the uppercase living and placed an order. Her air went out on Friday night and she was just miserable. We then came home and cooked out hamburgers and hot dogs and they all had a ball. We just have so much fun when we get together.

On my way home my mother calls to let me know that the man Robert Hatley that has been missing in Horn Lake, MS is my cousin's husbands. I had no idea. I have only met him twice. I just didn't put two and two together. I was so sadden because they found him dead in a lake. He was having seizures and disorentation and they couldn't figure out what the cause was and put him on some medication for it. Just a sad story for my cousin and I pray for her family.

Sunday: Just plain lazy day. We went to Chili's for dinner because I was just too tired to cook and we had to go to Lowe's anyway, which is right beside Chili's.....

Monday: Went to work and then our friend Chrissy made an awesome dinner and cake for us. We had a great time over there... Thank you Chrissy for dinner.

Tuesday: Went to work and then went to my cousin's husbands viewing. He was so well liked with every one and had a ton of people to come to the church. He will be very missed by all. Please pray for my cousin and her family.

Vacation Planning

So it is official, we are going to San Francisco in September. I can not wait. We have booked our flights and the accommodations are set. Our friend Chrissy is going ahead of us and then she will fly home with us at the end of the week. We are so excited. This will be our second vacation this year. We try to take two a year. It is so nice to go on vacation. We are so blessed to have wonderful jobs that allow us to visit the world. I just love it.

Awesome Weekend

I am so sad the weekend is over. We had an awesome weekend. Friday night we went to a friends 40th surprise party. I have to say he was surprised. It was so funny watching every one dance. We didn't dance because we are not two of the greatest dancers. Especially my husband. He is horrible I have to say... LOL I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pictures. We got half way there and I told my husband I forgot the camera. I was so upset. Sorry for no pictures. That is so unlike me. :(

Saturday night my friend Chrissy made us an awesome dinner. We had a great time with the kids and then they were off to bed around 8 p.m. and we had dinner. She made this chicken and it was so good. She had lots of recipes I could definately use. My husband always says I do not cook anymore. I just ran of ideas for dinner. Thank you Chrissy for the awesome dinner. Hope you haven't drank all of your Long Island Ice tea we brought you.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the most wonderful dad ever. I am truly a daddy's girl. When I was younger my parents divorced when I was 10 and I chose to live with my dad. I wasn't leaving my father for nothing. He was my dad and I wasn't having it. So I lived with my father and step mother since I was 11 years old.

I love you so much daddy.

Party Night

Tonight we are going to a friends 40th surprise party. I am so excited about going and can't wait for the surprise. I will post pictures tomorrow. Wish me luck on staying up on a Friday night, normally the bed calls my name by 10pm. LOL

Weekend of Storms

What a weekend. Friday I took off work to visit the yuck doctor (OBGYN). Have I ever told ya'll how much I hate to go to the OBGYN. So gross. I am very modest and I just get sick when I go. Then we met my great friend Chrissy at Benihana's. It was so good. I just love that place. John ate sushi and he loved it there as well. Then we were off to the mall, Chrissy needed to go to this store in mall and see if they had these pants that she wears. John bought some shoes and then we were off to home. Before we went into the mall, John's brother texted him and said he see's us. We were looking everywhere and finally found him. That was just too funny. That night I went over to Chrissy's house to babysit Garrett. She went to a wedding and took the girls. What a night. A tornando was spotted in Cordova. I just got my shoes back on and held Garrett the whole time the sirens were going off so if i heard or saw the tornando we could run to the closet. Luckily no damage or anything.

Saturday we were just plain lazy that day. We got out later that day and went to town. I needed to go to Sam's and Pet Smart. I found this beauitful butterfly necklace at Sam's, so i bought it. Then we got home and ordered the UFC fight. I watched some of it but I just don't understand getting beat up for money. How horrible those people must feel after the fight and especially if you lose. LOL

Sunday is cleaning day. I put some Southwestern Chicken in the crock pot and just going to clean a little today. This morning some more storms came through and it just thundered and lightening all morning.

Dermatolgoy Visit

Today I had to visit the dermatologist. I have had a spot on my leg for 6 months and it kept getting bigger and bigger. I do have ezcema and it didn't look like any other ezcema spots that I have had. I wanted to make sure it wasn't skin cancer or anything like that. It turns out it is just my ezcema. Yaaaaay, I feel much better now. She gave me some stronger medicine for my ezcema because the other just wasn't working. Then I had some skin tags on my neck that I wanted removed. WOW, she had to dead the area around the skin tags and boy does that hurt. The needle in my neck. It is hurting a little right now but I hope it goes away by tomorrow. Other than that it was a great day. Beautiful outside but Hot here in Memphis.

Fabulous Weekend

We had a fabulous weekend. Saturday night we had a poker party. It was great. My bother in law won for the first time. Sunday I was just lazy all day. I don't know what got into me but I didn't want to do anything. All I did all day was watch tv and cook dinner. Sometimes I guess you just need the rest.
